After the rugby we sailed to Collonsay, met up with claire then continued to a rainy uncomfortable Tiree before surfing some big southwesterly waves to Muck and Eigg before travelling to Mallaig to drop Claire off and Pick up Matthew

Islay to Oban to Mull to Coll and back to Oban!

14/05/2008 to 01/06/2008

Islay is the home of Scottish whiskey and we bumped into several folk on whiskey tours and some interesting locals. From Port Ellen we travelled via the Sound of Islay past the Great Race and stopped of for the night in the busy anchorage of Puilladobhrain. Arrived in Oban on friday and waited for the arrival of Tom. Next day headed to Gylen Castle via the anchorage in the bay to the south. A lovely spot and a great tea house, a must visit if in the area. From here we headed to round Mull Via Staffa, Coll and ended back up in Oban a week later.
