How to get a new position update

We have an experimental piece of electronics on board developed by Cas Ladah which allows realtime updates of our position to be included in the website at your request. To get a position update text "piper pos" (all lower case) to 07591 648455. You will shortly recieve an automated reply giving our position and the website map will also be updated.

If you have any problems with the position update system please let us know using the contact form.

    Please note:
  1. You will be charged by your network at your normal rate for sending the text message
  2. If there is no phone reception where we are then you will not recieve a reply immediately. Once we recieve your message you will recieve a reply and you will then be able to see our updated position on the website.
  3. If there is no GPS reception you will recieve a message notifying you of this.
  4. The reply message is sent by a pay as you go sim card and costs 10p. If there is no credit left then you will not recieve a reply. We have initially put £10 credit on. If you are using the position update facility a lot then please consider making a donation to cover costs...
